Peach Crisp

This weekend I went to a fruit and veggie stand and saw they had peaches, eager for Missouri peaches. I excitedly asked the gentleman if they were peaches and left the stand very let down to find they were Georgia peaches. The next day, today, wonderful news was shared that there was Missouri peaches at a stand. God must have known how much I was wanting them!! We went and bought a huge bag of peaches. I took a small nap and eagerly began cutting peaches for Peach crisp. This is the recipe I used

8 cups of cut peaches
1 cup of sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup of oats
1 1/1 cups of brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp nutmeg
2/3 cup of butter


Spray bottom of 2qt pan. Cut Peaches up and put in pan. Put sugar on top of peaches and mix together.

For the topping.

Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together. Then melt butter and mix into dry mixture.

Spread topping over peaches and bake. Bake at 375 for 30 mins. You want topping golden brown and peaches soft.
